PROPOSED PROJECT

Ad Placement Audit

Help brand teams check where and how their ads appeared. Compare screenshots and delivery reports with the approved design, planned placements, and destination links. Flag cropped messages, old offers, or wrong landing pages, and give the advertising team a correction list with screenshots and source records.

Wrong recorded destination

CAP-03 + delivery row 18

Authored capture simulations and delivery records using generated product imagery. They are not screenshots from a real campaign. Findings apply to the shown evidence, not every impression.

The project in practice.

Three fictional placements show one current 20% offer. P01 crops the condition “selected bags only”; P02 displays the old 15% artwork; P03 shows the current artwork but its delivery record points to /last-season instead of /bags. The audit links each issue to a capture or delivery row, with all corrections awaiting the media team.

WHAT IS USUALLY DONE

A campaign report confirms impressions, but it does not show whether the displayed creative kept the full offer, used the current artwork, or reached the correct landing page. Screenshots and placement IDs are reviewed separately.

WHAT SOVRUN CAN DO FOR YOU

Sovrun would connect placement screenshots and delivery records to the approved design and destination map. It would flag cropped wording, old offers, and wrong links with source evidence, then assemble a correction list for the advertising team. Reviewers distinguish visible problems from anything the screenshot cannot establish.

Different failures
need different corrections.

A clipped condition needs a layout fix. An old offer needs the correct creative version. A wrong recorded URL needs destination verification. Keep each issue tied to its own evidence and owner.

P01

Offer condition cropped

Rebuild the placement so the full condition stays readable, then capture the replacement.

P02

Old 15% artwork

Replace A15 with approved A20 and confirm the offer in a fresh capture.

P03

Wrong recorded destination

Compare the recorded /last-season URL with approved /bags, check redirects, and confirm the actual landing page.

VERIFY THE REPLACEMENT

A correction request is not a verified fix. Attach a new capture or destination check with the placement ID and time, and keep the original evidence available.

A correction list
backed by what was shown.

The project helps brand and media teams inspect delivered material and track replacement evidence. It does not change live ads or infer unseen outcomes.

How we’d make it happen.

  1. Match the actual placement

Connect the capture to its placement, time, creative ID, and designated approved version.

  2. Compare visible content and recorded links

Flag clipping, outdated offers, and URL differences. Keep uncertain capture conditions separate from confirmed record mismatches.

  3. Review and verify corrections

The team approves changes and requests fresh evidence after replacement. Preserve the original capture and verification result.

Where AI helps

Vision models compare supplied screenshots with approved layouts and read visible offer text. Document matching connects creative and placement IDs, while code compares recorded destination URLs. Suggested findings keep the exact capture and delivery record attached; a screenshot alone does not prove every impression had the same issue.

What people approve

Brand and advertising teams confirm captures, dates, approved offer versions, and destination behavior. They approve correction requests and verify replacements. The tool does not edit live ads, claim unobserved delivery failures, or infer conversions from a screenshot.

What we’d need to start

  • Approved artwork, offer wording, and destination map
  • Timestamped placement screenshots and delivery records with creative IDs
  • Capture context, channel requirements, and review owners

How we’d test it

Test cropped captures, wrong creative IDs, outdated offers, and redirecting links. Compare findings with human-reviewed examples and check that uncertain observations remain labeled. Verify corrected placements using new captures; do not generalize one screenshot to all delivered impressions.
