PROPOSED PROJECT
Salon Consultation Summaries
Turn a consultation recording, made with the client’s permission, into a service plan and take-home care notes for the stylist to check.
Example brief
A salon consultation includes a client asking for a lighter look, a stylist explaining maintenance, and an agreement to book a separate color consultation before choosing a treatment. The summary must preserve that distinction instead of recording an unapproved service.
Example output
- Client request: explore a lighter overall look.
- Agreed next step: separate color consultation; no chemical service confirmed.
- Open question: final treatment and care requirements to be decided by the stylist.
WHAT IS USUALLY DONE
A stylist records a few notes while discussing color, cut, upkeep, and expectations. The client may leave with a different understanding of the agreed service or forget the care instructions.
WHAT SOVRUN CAN DO FOR YOU
Sovrun would prototype a structured summary workflow for one salon service. It extracts what the client requested, what the stylist actually agreed to, open questions, and approved aftercare. The stylist edits and approves the summary before it is saved or shared.
How we’d deliver it
Structure
Define which decisions and unresolved questions belong in the service note.
Extract
Draft a summary with transcript references and mark uncertain details.
Approve
Let the stylist correct the record and authorize any client-facing copy.
Where AI helps
Speech recognition transcribes a consented conversation; a language model extracts the agreed details into fixed fields. It must distinguish a suggestion from a confirmed plan.
What people approve
The stylist approves service decisions and aftercare. The tool does not independently recommend chemical treatments or assess suitability.
What we’d need from you
- Consent and retention requirements
- Service-note template
- Approved service and aftercare guidance
What you’d receive
- Consultation summary prototype
- Editable service and aftercare templates
- Staff review and retention workflow
How we’d test it
Compare summaries with stylist-written notes, focusing on missed constraints, invented agreements, and ambiguous treatment decisions.
Prepared for Beauty & personal care. We would agree on the work after reviewing your brief, materials, and requirements.
This is a proposed project, not completed client work. The examples show what we would use and produce, not measured results.
