PROPOSED PROJECT

Fragrance Campaign Art Direction

Turn a fragrance brief into a connected set of campaign images and a short film, keeping the bottle accurate across every scene and format.

Fictional fragrance campaign: a smoked glass bottle on wet black slate in a monumental opening.
FRAGRANCE / CAMPAIGN CONCEPTAfter
rain.
A proposed campaign style. Generated imagery for a fictional fragrance.

Give a scent
a visual language.

A fragrance label wants a launch built around the mood “the stillness after rain.” The proposed territory uses wet slate, cool silver light, and a petrol-green architectural setting. The bottle must remain recognizable across hero, portrait, and moving-light compositions. These materials express the mood; they are not ingredient claims.

A second composition: the same style of perfume bottle under a silver shaft of light.

CHOSEN CONCEPT / AFTER RAIN

The air changes.
The bottle stays.

Wet stone, cool light, and a quiet, architectural scale. The art direction translates the supplied mood into repeatable choices for the whole campaign.

WHAT IS USUALLY DONE

A capable image workflow can produce a striking fragrance scene. When the launch needs new angles, moving light, and vertical placements, teams often repeat the generation and recheck the bottle for each asset.

WHAT SOVRUN CAN DO FOR YOU

Sovrun would define the material, light, and composition rules for one selected territory, then test current image and video workflows on the reflective bottle. Approved photography or 3D anchors the product while generated environments carry the atmosphere. The engagement delivers six compositions, files for each ad format, and an eight-second light study with editable source files.

A campaign with
room to evolve.

Expected output: six finished campaign images, files for each ad format, and an eight-second film exploring the lighting. The examples below show the intended direction; the motion has not been rendered.

How we’d make it happen.

  1. Define the visual territory

Translate the supplied mood into material, lighting, and composition rules. Keep factual scent notes separate from creative interpretation.

  2. Test the reflective shot

Compare current reference-guided image and video workflows on bottle detail and moving light. Choose the production route before making the full series.

  3. Produce a reusable release

Composite the approved product, finish the stills and motion, and deliver files for each ad format with editable layers and reference records.

Where AI helps

Reference-guided image models develop environments and alternate compositions. Video models are evaluated for controlled changes in light and camera position. Combining generated scenes with approved photos or footage preserves the approved product wherever generated geometry or reflections drift.

What people approve

An art director owns the visual territory. The brand approves the scent language, and compositors check bottle geometry, label readability, reflections, and continuity across the release.

What we’d need to start

  • Approved scent mood and campaign brief
  • Bottle photography or 3D assets and packaging artwork
  • Placement requirements, brand references, and usage rights

How we’d test it

Review bottle fidelity and consistency across the placements. Test a requested change in lighting while preserving the approved bottle. Record correction effort and approval rounds against the agreed creative brief.

Prepared for Beauty & personal care. We would agree on the work after reviewing your brief, materials, and requirements.
