PROPOSED PROJECT
Software Demo Videos
Show a new software feature through a complete customer task, such as uploading an invoice and matching it to a payment. Combine recordings of the working product with animation and narration to create a launch video and shorter feature clips.
From invoice
to done.
One task.
A reason to keep watching.
“Check the payment against the original.”
Make the feature
mean something.
Fictional billing app Relay is launching invoice matching in release 2.6. The proposed 30-second film follows invoice INV-041 for ₱420.00 from upload to a reviewed payment match and confirmation. The storyboard gives six seconds to upload, nine to review, nine to confirm, and six to the end card. The commissioned film would use actual approved product recordings; the study shows authored static frames.
WHAT IS USUALLY DONE
A product team records a long tour of its screens, then cuts it down for the launch. Viewers see features but may never see a complete task. Shorter versions can lose an important step, show an old interface, or shrink the useful detail until it is unreadable.
WHAT SOVRUN CAN DO FOR YOU
Sovrun would direct a product film around one task a customer wants to finish. We plan the story with the product team, capture the approved working build, and combine those recordings with designed motion, edited narration, and captions. AI helps search takes, draft narration options, and prepare alternate edits; the approved interface stays visible. Each placement gets its own framing and pacing rather than a blind crop of the launch film.
Follow the job.
Keep the real product in view.
The edit follows a complete task instead of touring disconnected screens. AI helps search recordings, explore narration, and prepare versions; the actual interface and product behavior stay under the product team’s control.

Bring in the invoice.
Follow the upload into the real product screen.
“Start with the invoice you already have.”
Show the completed task.
Hold on the confirmed state long enough to read it.
“Confirm the match. Keep the record attached.”
Use motion to direct attention, not to invent a button, hide a required step, or make an unfinished feature appear to work. The product owner checks the task against release 2.6.
One task.
Three useful edits.
The proposed first delivery covers one approved feature, its complete task, and three placement-specific edits. The frames below show the intended compositions; final durations would be confirmed in the edit.
to done.
Sorted.
How we’d make it happen.
Choose the job worth showing
Agree on the customer task and its real starting and ending states. Write and review the script, identify the required steps, and plan the camera framing around readable interface details.
Capture and direct the edit
Record the working release with sample data. Use AI to find takes and develop narration or motion options, then build the approved sequence through editing, compositing, sound, and captions.
Check the product and the placements
The product owner checks every action and claim. Review each aspect ratio at its real viewing size and deliver the final edits with source recordings, captions, and editable files.
Where AI helps
We compare current transcription, language, voice, and image-to-video workflows against the actual production brief. AI can find moments in recordings, propose a concise script, and develop surrounding motion. The final screen behavior comes from the approved product capture; compositing and editing preserve exact labels, values, and required steps. Authorized voices and reviewed scripts determine the narration.
What people approve
The product owner confirms that the recorded task works in the named release and approves all feature claims. The creative team directs the story, controls the edit, checks captions and readability, and clears the voice and music. Sample data replaces private customer information before recording. Illustrative motion must not imply an unreleased feature already works.
What we’d need to start
- Access to an approved test build, one complete customer task, and safe sample records
- Product messaging, brand files, release version, and any required on-screen terms
- Placement requirements, approved voices and music, and product and creative reviewers
How we’d test it
Compare the storyboard and every finished cut with the approved product task. Check that required confirmation steps, the original invoice reference, and final status remain accurate. Test caption timing and screen readability on phones and product-page embeds. Evaluate whether viewers can explain the task after watching; do not claim conversion improvements without a measured trial.
Prepared for Technology & software. We would agree on the work after reviewing your brief, materials, and requirements.
This is a proposed project, not completed client work. The visuals and numbers show example outputs, not measured results.
